This rubric applies to all outcomes that students will be exposed to throughout the school year.
Highly Proficient: Student has the right answer and applies the knowledge to other scenarios/situations. Additional “Advanced Level” skills for certain outcomes must be demonstrated. (Example: student records the right response and adds additional research, or applies it to an alternate scenario not discussed in class, or previously discussed in class).
Proficient: Student shows a consistent and thorough understanding of the outcomes/knowledge presented to them. (Example: writes the right answer, has the correct response)
Not Yet Proficient: Student does not show an understanding of the outcome/knowledge. (Examples: writes the wrong answer, or is off topic in their response); student did not answer or complete the requirements for the outcome. (Examples: never made up the assignment, skipped these questions on an assessment, wrote a bogus answer to this question)
